Jonah Matranga (Far, onelinedrawing) has just released a new booked called Alone Rewinding https://jonahmatranga.bandcamp.com/merch/alone-rewinding-the-book which was backed from a successful Kickstarter campaign.

He has also
just released a new single called “Don’t Give Up” which is the first track featured on a new compilation album from Blacktop Records, Don’t Give Up: 12 Years Of DIY being released on compact disc and digitally Friday Oct 27th. The comp also features new and unreleased tracks from Lisa Loeb, Wheatus, MC Lars, Kevin Seconds (7Seconds) and a handful more.

Once in a while I’ll drop a shameless self promotion post here at MUSIC-SURVIVAL-GUIDE. This, is one of them. I just wanted to announce that my new release, Therapy Sessions:An Experiment In Sound and Word will be released this Friday, October 13th. It is not a traditional “record” by any stretch. It is somewhat stream on consciousness, storytelling, spoken work and a few songs. I’ve been explaining to people that, if an abstract painting had a voice, this might be it. I’m pretty excited about it and sharing it with all of you. It will be available physically only in a limited edition bundle in which the CD version will come with 4 other DIY components. ONLY 20, and the only way you can get it will be with the bundle. Other than that it will be available digitally through all the major sites.

Captain Black Heart – “Budgie” out this Friday!

This will end my now trio of Captain Black Heart posts here at MUSIC-SURVIVAL-GUIDE. Just one final bump for their record, Budgie that comes out this Friday 10/06/17.

Budgie is an incredible heartfelt and vintage sounding contribution from a really talented duo from CA. It’s one of those records you can feel. Please take the plunge and grab this record. Im sure you’ll be pleased.
